Ielca Torok, M.Sc. (A), CSR-P
Ielca has broad experience in operational activities and corporate processes in the mineral exploration and mining industry globally. She holds a M. Sc. (A) in Mineral Exploration from McGill University, a B.Ed. from Lakehead University, as well as certifications in Cornell’s Change Leadership program, GRI and the Certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner Program.
In her diverse career she has worked in the field in Brazil and Canada, coordinated international projects in different continents and managed a portfolio of R&D projects (US$6M/year). Ielca has created and delivered training programs on Leadership; and implemented and audited management systems for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, including Risk Management.
Ielca is passionate about improvement. Sustainability and ESG frameworks provide systematic ways for companies to explore where they could be doing better, plan and implement improvements which will positively impact people and the planet. Ielca enjoys hands-on work with clients, helping them to come up with simple and practical steps to get to their goals.
